Is it an idea or wrong personal feeling on Android/Samsung S7710 ? Shocked

I've found a little problem of sensibility with the icons menu (3 and 4) (don't have effect sometimes but not always).

Pressing on these can make moving a bit the map unfortunately ... Crying or Very sad

Try Settings->Desktop-> no softkey menu, save change and restart TB instead of "..." command to use custom menu for keypad-type phones. I just checked it and this options is missing in settings... wtf Shocked Or, you can try to add the following line to JAD file and reinstall the app:
UI-RightKey: ...

Thanks, the "no softkey menu" setting is perfect, I like the look Smile

GPS - internal, external (and type)?

Internal GPS of the SE C905

Thanks for your ongoing support. Your software is the only thing that makes my old phone still useful Smile

How old your atlas is ? Was used with 1.2.2 + ? Acceleration files are included ?
I remember similar problem, described in topic
http://www.trekbuddy.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=52848&highlight=tmi#52848

I've created the atlas in june using MoBAC and it has worked without any problems until my update to V1.26. When you with the acceleration files mean the tmi-files they all exist, but this is IMO not the problem : when selecting the atlas cr-file, I can not select exactly one of the layers, because ist not in the layers list. All others are in the List of layers as I can see. I don't believe that this is a Problem of acceleration files.

From 1.2.2 + TB uses new tmc acceleration files for maps.
You should look at Info, Technical, Map section in TB what type is used for current map. Or look at map folders to check if tmc files are created and have non zero value. It is important ie for KitKat 4.4+, where acceleration files can be not saved as should to microSD, due system restrictions.
In 1.26 described problem wasn't visible for me at all.
But I reproduced similar case in 1.28b, where map is present, but not loadaed by easy zoom next map feature.

Understanding what you want to explain.
This can't be the same context IMO, because I don't talk about easy zoom. My problem is of more general nature. Nevertheless kruch has requested my cr.tar file and hopefully will find the issue

First - as desribed in topic
http://www.trekbuddy.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21
description cr.tar should be used rather for CR Smile
Second - you can check if layer is visible as folder or not in file system using Maps command.
And next check, when atlas is loaded, if it is presented for default map selection, contains map, etc.
Sorry, but statement "one layer ... was not presented anymore" wasn't clear. When & where ?
What means "key 7" context ? Not easy zoom ? Smile

The problem with not seeing the layer is because TB does not find any calibration files (.map) in that layer because filenames are truncated to 100 characters (as per specification)... how could this work before? Shocked

Code:
D-Unterseerhein-KN-GeiTUT-Aach/D-Unterseerhein-KN-GeiTUT-Aach 11/
D-Unterseerhein-KN-GeiTUT-Aach/D-Unterseerhein-KN-GeiTUT-Aach 11/D-Unterseerhein-KN-GeiTUT-Aach 11.m
...

What tool did you use to create the atlas?

Experimental support for ad hoc atlases (Android build): http://www.trekbuddy.net/dev/2014-09-03/trekbuddy.apk

Just create atlas header (main .tar) with only .tba file inside and try to open it using this version.
Quite slow if you have many layers or split maps, result of scanning not persisted so every time you open it will scan the folders and read calibrations from all map archives Confused

Please remember that atlas header does not have to be named cr.tar and atlas tag file inside tar does not have to be named cr.tba - "cr" was just an example for czech republic

EDIT: On the other hand, same file can now be used for all ad hoc atlases, because the archive content does not matter, so a good name could also be dynamic.tar or adhoc.tar... Razz

- it's better. but still too narrow. I think, max thickness would be about 4 or 5 times more than now.

@yearling
Do you use QHD or something like that ? Smile
It is more complicated think than lines. App knows display size in points and ppi, so probably can offer correct standard customization, ie for most typical screens.
But what is typical in displays now, screen fragmentation on platforms is just ... horrible Wink
