|
|
Hello,
I'm trying to use Trekbuddy with CX65 and have the following questions.
1) CX65 does not have a MMC, only internal memory. What path is necessary at "Settings" > "Data Dir"? I tried file:///0/trek but then a java exception occurs.
2) What do I need to set at "Settings" > "Startup Map"?
3) I generated a map file "mg.tar" (see attached file) containing png-files with 120x160 pixels. When I try to "Load map", an error occurs:
[6] null: bw: Invalid header: 'm g _ 1 2 0 0'
Any idea what could be wrong?
In which directory shall I place the tar-file?
Which pixel sizes shall the png-files in the tar-file have?
Thank you very much.

Uncheck Settings->Tweaks->optimistic I/O and restart TB.
From time to time I quicktest tar-ed map with tile 240x320 in S65, runs ok...

"optimistic I/O" is unchecked, has no effect.
Is my tar map in correct format?
In which directory should the tar-file be saved?
Thanks.

You mg.tar seems corrupted:
| Code: |
z:\temp>tar -tf mg.tar
mg.set
set/mg_0_0.png
set/mg_0_1120.png
set/mg_0_1280.png
set/mg_0_1440.png
set/mg_0_160.png
set/mg_0_1600.png
set/mg_0_1760.png
set/mg_0_1920.png
set/mg_0_320.png
set/mg_0_480.png
set/mg_0_640.png
set/mg_0_800.png
set/mg_0_960.png
set/mg_1080_0.png
set/mg_1080_1120.png
set/mg_1080_1280.png
set/mg_1080_1440.png
set/mg_1080_160.png
tar: Only read 8242 bytes from archive mg.tar
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
z:\temp> |
To get usable path for DataDir, try Load Map to see filesystem roots available. Eg. on S65, I can see
0:/
1:/
2:/
4:/
and my DataDir is file:///4:/TrekBuddy/ - that is folder TrekBuddy in the memory card root.
