Confused

Changelog
    - simple route navigation
    - units selection config option (metric, imperial, nautic)
    - some device-specific hacks
    - nmea parser, gpx log, serial/bt provider improvements
    - Blackberry support
    - NMEA logging for Internal provider (works eg. on N6110 Navigator)
    - Irish Grid support (includes built-in Ireland 1965 datum definition)
    - backward compatibility break: courses arrow file "structure" has changed - it is expected to cover also 90 course (straight east), and has been renamed to arrows.png

Simple route navigation

When you select a waypoint list (store), you can
    - navigate to single wpt (Navigate To)
    - navigate along the route (Navigate Along)
    - navigate backwards along the route (Navigate Back)

You can start from any wpt/rtept. Also, TB now supports GPX containting route (single, for now), ie. rte/rtept construct.

When a wpt is reached (if distance is less than value in Wpt Proximity config setting, in meters), backlight is flashed, and a sound is played - you have to create sounds subfolder in the datadir and put a file in AMR form named wpt.amr there. Sample attached. If the file is not found, some default beep is played instead.

I found a weird performance problem when parsing UTF-8 encoded XML files (gpx, cms profile, ...) on N6230i (everything was fine on K750i), even if the file itself is not encoded but encoding="UTF-8" is specified in xml declaration, parsing is very very very slow. Changing the attribute to encoding="ISO-8859-1" solved it. Of course, the content encoding and encoding specification should match!

You can see route from this trip on left picture and I hope that Maciek will show us some materials soon ...

Nice work fella - I've just checked the Irish Grid coords display bugs that I was getting (North West and South West) and all now seem fixed Cool
That really is one great app that you've got there - thanks once again for all your hard work.

Kruch what d'you think about adding a "Move Cursor To.." function in the PDI menu (the menu with "Navigate to", Route Along etc.)...

Sometimes I'm in need to look at the area near a PDI (but far away from my GPS position, and without knowing the numbers of the atlas maps).

Now i have to "navigate to" and follow the arrow till I reach the PDI but it takes long time sometimes! With that function it will be possibile to immediately move cursor on any PDI on the map.

This is even more usefull if you use trekbuddy in Offline mode (with no GPS data).

Tell me what you think! Thanks Kruch!

(sorry if i post here, but i see Wish List thread is locked)

I feel your pain! I know what it's like to scroll to a position in 10000x10000 pixel map Wink

Yes, I'll implement both GoTo on a waypoint and manually entered coordinates.

Wishlist has moved to wiki, where we can collaborate better... Cool

Hi Guys,
See map area near any wpt is really needed option.
I can say (not first time) how I solved it. I have a small, few hundred pixel maps in my atlases, so moving to interesting area is not more as change layer, move fast to place and switch to detailed map back.
GM small dumps or others are indeed good for such thinks Wink
But have few more options isn't bad.
