I can't reproduce this particular error on my Android even with large waypoint lists but it may well be related to something I noticed lately (which I cannot remember happening a few releases back)... Sorting the waypoints list doesn't trigger a refresh / update / re-draw displaying the waypoints in the order you just choose (by name, by distance, by position) however if you perform the sort then exit the waypoint list when you re-open the list the waypoints are correctly sorted as per your last choice.

Sorting the waypoints list works in 1.0.23 i cannot test in later versions on android as they dont load all is working fine on latest build for symbian

I probably introduced some bug when I fixed the problem that ticker was disappearing too early while the list was not ready yet... Ticker behaviour is very different on Android and other platforms.

I hope this version works better when it comes to wpts loading (no hanging ticker) and sorting (faster repaints).

Start tb , load wpts , nav to , press wpts (footprints) tb crashes net. Error sorry the application Trekbuddy (process net.trekbuddy.midlet)has stopped unexpectedly.please try again.

what was wrong with the way wps loaded in 1.0.23 ? the loading then listing seamed to make more sence. EDIT i see listing still shows during some sorting i guess the speed increase mean it displays for less time

also if sorted by name or distance a menu prees gives options of
nav to - goto - show all
sort by position - sort by name - sort by distance
if you sort by position you get
nav to - route forward - route backward
goto - show all - more

is there any reason why the options are different?

Sorting changes wpts order, so it mostly doesn't make sense to route along or back for such order ...

Yes, but this is not a change it has been like this for a long time.

The speed of listing may be more significant with large files (thousand wpts or so).

But what bothers me is that it crashes .. I do not know how to reproduce it.
