I don't know if there is such a feature. At least I have not been able to find it. If there is no such feature I'd really like it! I don't like having to re-input all my settings every time I update Trekbuddy.... :)

hi kruch, is there a need for manual copying of mentioned file somewhere after update in order to get backuped settings? or is tb able to find this back up file and restore previous settings?
(i've already lost my setting during 1.0.15->1.0.17 migration, no big deal, but i like that you have things like that on your mind Wink )

There should be no need, unless you have Blackberry phone. On most phones settings are preserved during upgrade.
