Malesmurf,
thanks for your panels and HECL code. I used them to make a single panel bike theme (360x640 for N97) using CMS Designer. I have a doubt though: when I stop moving, the speed does not go to zero in the screen (stays at the last value just before stopping: usually between 5 and 8km/h). The problem is that the total altitude alt-asc and alt-desc in the HECL script keeps accumulating (the usual jumps) because it reads not the actual 0km/h but the value in the screen. Can you tell me if there is a way around this or is this a Trekbuddy constraint?
Thanks a lot.

Best regards,

Filipe Oliveira

First, thank you MaleSmurf for your time and obvious very effective effords.. Love this CMS! (too bad the Nokia 2710 seems to have a build in error in the position fix, so even when standstill it "moves around" but hey...)

one Question though, I do not get any reading on the altitude, is there something I need to activate? I used "gps viewer" alternativly (but kicked it off the phone now) which gave me readings on altitude without a problem, do you know if this is a setting's problem with treck Buddy? everything else seems to work just fine.

Thanks again, greetings, Axel

I have improved algorithm in the HECL script for total asc/desc meters on the Altitude tab. After slow walking in hills with return to starting point, ascending meters were significantly lower that the descending meters. The reason was loss of delta height information for speed < 2 km/h.
Changes:
- loss-less asc/desc calculation including pause/resume
- altitude is calculated if speed >2 km/h or filtered speed >1.2 km/h (filter time 20 sec) – for slow walking
- altitude is filtered with time 50 sec (constant 0.02 on 1st line).
For good signal (>7 satellites) and speed >15 km/h filtering time is halved, for speed >40 km/h quarted (better response for bicycle, car).
In car, filtered altitude differs from actual altitude up to 30 meters, hill height is reduced by approx. 10 meters. Total asc/desc provides bad results in town or narrow valleys.
All filtering times are valid for 1Hz sampling, for 5Hz are 5x faster (exponential filters are used).
Three file versions (Digiblue-cz, Digiblue-en, Smalemurf9) differ only by file name of the altitude tab.

Hi all and thanks to MaleSmurf for this great work. Maybe someone can explain to me why I cannot see the number of satellites for the fix. I loaded TrekBuddy on my LG GT 505 pathfinder. Maybe that feature is device dependent?
Thanks for any reply

Cheers
Riki

Hi!,
I am trying to design my own CMS and I would like to use the font in the red circle in the background image. Could anybody tell me which font is the one in the red circle?
Thanks!

That's not a font, as such. It's part of the png background image.

That's exactly what I am trying to find: the font that was used in that PNG background image!
Thanks!
