Hi,

as of TrekBuddy 1.0.11 I cannot load any ui-profiles: "Failed to load profile: java.lang.NullPointerException"
I've put some CMS files into the ui-profiles folder but none will work.
Has anybody an idea? My nokia 5230 uses firmware from summer 2010, not the latest version.

What TB version you used before?

it was TB 0.9.99 and I'm using Nokia5230/20.0.005/sw_platform=S60;version=5.0;java_build_version=1.4.43

update: I tried to go back to 0.99 to check if error was caused by new version but installation failed with "Certificate Error. Contact Application Supplier"
, although I already had opened the phone for all installations. Momentary conclusion: next phone won't be a nokia running symbian.

did you install it to the same place as before phone or memorycard?

0999 is signed with cert that expired at the beginning of Jan 2011.

thanks for the hint. I even put the phone clock back to 2008 but it didn't help.
So what else could be hindering to do the reinstall?

update: my fault was to set the system clock too early, with setting to 2010 I could reinstall 0.9. Fine, and the CMS is working as well. But there seems to be an error in that file because one of the windows causes the program to crash with "NullPointerException". It is the 'ui-profiles-Nokia5230.zip' I had installed. My assumption is that 1.0.11 detects the error in the CMS file and this prevents it from showing up at all. Could that be?

update: I reinstalled 1.0.11, erased the aforementioned theme and put the moinmoinhb.zip theme into profiles. Its ugly but it works so that the problem most likely comes from the theme I've tried to use. I'm going to post a message into the related forum. Thanks all for your comments so far.
