Hi there Smile

I want to use Trekbuddy with my SE k800i for Geocaching.
I would like to see the Caches (of a Pocket Query) near the place I am standing on a map, choose one an then let the phone direct me there.

I hope to find help here Smile

I have startet by transferring the .jar file to my phone and installing it.
It runs fine.

1. Do I need the jad file?
2. Which CMS is good for my Mobile? 240/320
There are so many different ones, I just can´t decide.

I read, that it´s not possible to zoom with trekbuddy, but it´s possible to create an atlas with different zoom factors to flip through.
Which Zoom factors are good?

Mobile Atlas Creator was recommended to me.
I just wanted to install it but it says:
"On computers running Windows please make sure not to install MOBAC into Program Files sub-directory!"

Why and where else do I install it then?
I wanted to install it in: Programme Files/Mobileatlascreator/

Thanks Smile

You don't need to install it. Just copy the files to any directory you like and run it.

As for zoom: just try some levels on a small region and decide what looks best on your screen. TB shows them with a 1:1 pixel relation, so the actual size depends on the pixel size on your screen, not the resolution. e.g.: a 320:240 display may have larger pixels than a 360:640 display. So the actual size on the larger display is smaller ...

Hi,

thanks for your answer.
I´ve got trekbuddy running with atlas and it´s working fine.
Now I need to get the Geocaches of a Pocket Query (gpx file) to show up on the maps.
I think it´s possible, to click on the caches or waypoints and see the information and then let the phone direct me there, isn´t it?

I just don´t know yet, how to do that.

Edit: Is it possible, to have more than one gpx shown on the map?

Like, I have one gpx file with 500 Caches, and another one with another 500 caches. Can I have both displayed at the same time?
