|

When opening TB, it takes about 30s to load the maps.
Currently I do not use large file size (10,000 tiles per file) so that I can delete useless portions such as deserts or oceans. But perhaps this is counter-productive...
Is map loading duration related to map size, ie tiles per file? Which setting would reduce map loading duration? |

| 30 sec is way too much. Does your map have tile index file (.set for unpacked map, .tmi for packed one)? |

Yes all the .tmi files are there.
The directory structure looks inefficient:
E:\Maps\ovi\10\ovi 10 (004)\ovi 10(004).tar
(also .tmi).
So there is an atlas called ovi, zoom level 10, then what seems like a redundant directory ovi 10, in which the actual files are. I checked the directories, all contain only the two files given in the above example. Would it help if I put all the files directly in the zoom level directory? |

| OK please ignore this thread until I get back after more testing... it seems I got zoom mixed up with layers. Got it right now, and will repeat all tests. If I find anything after that, I will report back. |
