Hi,

I am not able in Nokia E52 ( symbian S60 V3, Trekbuddy 0.9.99 )to set negative altitude corrections. Would you give me a hint ?

I am quite a beginner in using GPS and Trekbuddy, and know almost nothing about J2ME and symbian.

My integral GPS ( middle europe ) shows fixed offset of altitude 50-60 meters above the values on hiking maps.
I can set both positive and negative altitude correction values in Nokia GPS settings utility.

The key can be, how symbian and symbian java implementation treat input fields set for numeric only data.

GPS settings - Symbian:
The asterisk key offers in 123 input values Plus Minus or E (exponent)

Trekbuddy settings java:
The asterisk key is inactive in 123 input

I have also tried workaround, by copy and paste.
Copy and paste works within alt. correction field, but paste option is not active after copying string from fult text fields

It also seems Nokia GPS settings and Trekbuddy uses opposite sense of correction. Correction 50 decreases shown altitude in Nokia GPS utility, but increases it in Trekbuddy.

Edit: See also related Nokia E71 thread I have missed before posting mine.
