Changelog
    - fixed field notes file encoding, timestamp is editable
    - fixed groundspeak cache info parsing
    - fixed StringOutOfBoundsException in CMS
    - improved taking photos by using autofocus and autoflash (if supported)
    - reduced power consumption on Android
    - enhanced bluetooth location provider to fallback to manually paired devices when none is found during discovery process (this helped me on Samsung S5230, but it neeeds one more trick - see next line)
    - new option Settings->Location->address fix - this option helped me on Samsung S5230 with connecting to GPS, because the phone reports incorrect bluetooth address for cached device (shown as "PREKNOWN" in TB)
    - new option Settings->Misc->lowmem I/O helped me avoid OutOfMemory errors with larger tar-ed maps on Samsung S5230, but it makes map browsing slower, I'd recommend using unpacked maps on this device
    - new option Settings->Location->time fix as a tweak for broken internal GPS when it reports time 1970-01-01 (report on some LG Arenas)

I cannot say that new options I introduced after testing TB on Samsung S5230 are applicable to other Samsung phones, but they may be - I just could not find details about J2ME implementation in these devices.

FYI I'm going to replace built-in default map with some simpler, probably not so nice one, but much smaller one.

The field notes option has disappeared on my K800i?

Also, when I select “Record Current” under the navigation menu I get a “Failed to update landmarks java.langNullpointerException” error when I press save.

Any ideas?

Tar-ed maps should have calibration file as the very first entry. But I noticed there are many maps that do not, so TB now uses tmi (if it exists) to find the calibration file in the archive faster. I believe this is your case... ?

As soon as there are any notes, command is available.

I have just uploaded fixed version (issues reported by MrKev and Zilina - cms filenames filter, and NPE after saving wpt).

"java.langNullpointerException bug has gone."
it isn´t, it´s still there....

When I download and install the "Version 0.9.98" (twice) it always says that the "Version 0.9.97" is still installed - if I install it, it says I´ve installed the "Version 0.9.97" - so could it be that the download link for the 98 is wrong (directs to the 97)?

If I change level of backlight on Nokia 6233 via long keypressing "3", sometime TB crashes with errormessage "Array Index Out Of Bounds java/lang/ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException". I don't now if TB 0997 behaves by the same way - I upgraded from v. 0995 (there was everything OK).

You can ignore the error if you are not intending to receive position SMS from other TrekBuddies. I have no idea how this can happen...

So I guess the 0.9.97 is the 0.9.98.... or is there a Version which shows 0.9.98?

I forgot: S60 v5

Seems like phone remembers port number used by second app version installed.
@ma360
Did you updated previous TB or installed another one ?
Try to turn off SMS receiving in old one if it is the case.
What about app autostart on SMS receiving ?
