May I ask what the error was or is this just a compiler option? |
OS 5.0 newly includes JSR-234 (advanced multimedia - amms) which TB detected, but application support for amms is removed at build time in TB build for Blackbbery, so at runtime ClassNotFoundException was thrown underneath (when you open Settings->Misc and your device supports media capture, then you can configure captured image resolution using either JSR-234 or JSR-135, depending on what is supported).
Shortly - build for 4.2 on OS 5.0 is a little inconsistent.
Thanks to this problem, I learnt about BB built-in event log, accessible by Alt+LGLG, where application exceptions stacktraces are logged (under certain circumstances)... cool. |

How do I set up the app to give position data in British National Grid format for OS maps? |
Setup / Basic / Coordinates / <Map Grid>
... if this is the format you need.

Your map needs to have been calibrated in BNG too. _________________ Nokia Lumia 635, Windows Phone 10

True; force grid option is not yet implemented, but it will be, eventually... |

This will allow us to use WGS 84 maps and see OSGB coordinates? Now that would be cool! _________________ Nokia Lumia 635, Windows Phone 10

Since 0.9.90 the keyboard lock (hold key "*") does not work properly:
1) press * for 2 seconds - no vibration
2) release button
3) every key is locked except left menu key and central button (menu "start" to "exit")
=>
The phone should vibrate on locking and should not allow to press menu button. Worked in 0.9.84.
Phone Nokia 5310 Xpress Music (S40 v5). |

Really... ? Softkeys are (and alyways were) beyond application control. I do not have S40 5th to test it on, but vibration works on S60 for me... Strange... |

I will chekc your cms tonight... HECL is somewhat intricately implemented, imho, so I may have screwed something up with my optimizations |

|
|
Samsung SGH-I600 with WM5 from Play with Esmertec Jbed 20071119.3.1 Mainnav MG950D and GPS works with tared atlases > 400MB.
Notes:
1 83 TB version works flawlessly;
2 Versions 84 to 87 - lack of menu buttons which makes it impossible to work;
3 Versions 89, 90 and 91 - menu buttons work, not work with atlases (does not respond to pressing the buttons 7 and 9).
Thanks to a colleague kruch for great program!

Does it crash when you use real GPS as location source too? |
