I had posted earlier here that I was trying to get polylines into TrekBuddy maps. I have many KML files of various biking and running trails in Denver that I want to put on offline maps for TrekBuddy. Thanks to a few hints from others on this forum, I got it to work. I like the result so much, I wanted to post a screen shot and also outline how I was able to do this.

Here is the finished result, showing a trail in red as well as a label on a google map. The screen shot was taken from my BlackBerry Curve 8900.

Here's what I did:

Digitized trail in Google Earth to KML.
Used GPSBabel to convert KML to GPX (or just capture GPX on GPS).
Used TrekBuddy Atlas Creator to grab the necessary Google tiles (could have also used any other map type) and saved as OziExplorer .MAP.
Used OziExplorer to add the GPX track, format it, add labels etc.
Saved the OziExplorer file with calibration. Also saved the map as an image. I ended up with a BMP and MAP file.
Used TBCutter to create tiles. Important to include MAP file for calibration.
Copied over to Blackberry.
Fired-up TrekBuddy!

I'm going to have some fun putting GPX tracks on the maps!

Nice work, but live could be so easy, if even TB could display any tracks of a users choice directly inside TB Smile
