Because the heading calculated from gps doesn't give good results, I think it would be great to use the magnet-compass more and more phones have built-in. Are there any plans to use them in TrekBuddy? It's specified in j2me location api (jsr-179, Class Orientation).

It would also be great if the Android version would use the according Android APIs, since I'm going to buy one. Smile

BTW: I'm using TB for more than a year now and must say thanks for this great app!

According to this thread (includes code examples) the N97 supports it, but hangs after about one minute. Sad

Maybe this could be done more stable via the S60Helper App?

The Android version could use the native API. Smile
