kruch, when will the final build of this version be available? i need an installation with signature for my bb. right now it doesn't stop asking for permission which makes using and cms design quite impossible.
or is there maybe a way around this - besides the obvious, giving the app full access to everything.

Ok, sorry guys, I was away for a couple of days...
Hope you haven't lost your enthusiasm
@gregnotcraig,cgXR I will make BB version of 0984 available tomorrow, at the latest.
@wowi yes, pace is calculated from short-term avg speed (this value is not available publicly)
@vincent I guess I should provide current position both in degrees and utm, the conversion in hecl is rather uncomfortable. |

if so utm and degrees it's perfect !
.. you do not like my HECL code convertion (in soft section) ? 
hope ms precision in cms::time

Could you make this short-term avg speed publicly available? It would be very valuable for slow-moving vehicles like boats  |

Hi Kruch,
i plan to do some hecl calculations with the speed.
I have created some nmea files to test the result.
When i load the nmea file in Simulator Mode,
Altitude + Time etc is OK, but Speed is always 0.
The source GPX File has the Speed inside:

<ele>538.5</ele>
<time>2009-04-19T17:15:51+02:00</time>
<fix>3d</fix>

Is that normal ?

From gpx and Googleearth.
There i have the most Demo-files available.
( logs from flying,Sailplane, Paraglider etc.
Available from xc.dhv.de)
Yesterday i make a short Test, creating a nmea with tb.
if i load that file in Simulationmode , i get also Speedvalues.
So i know now that TB can show that Values in Sim-Mode.
Later i will compare this nmea File with that created with gpsbabel..
Maybe i find the Difference and can change that with find and replace. |

i already read that,but its a different problem i think.
i think my problem is that gpsbabel dont include GPVTG Sentences like:
$GPVTG,239.1,T,240.1,M,0.6,N,1.1,K,A*2B
That Sentences contain the Speed.
That seems to be a gpsbabel bug. 
NMEA log created with TB contain GPVTG and can replayed fine.
Now i am looking for a other Converter.
