First of all i want to congratulate the developer of this grat software.
I downloaded the program from the windows mobile link. I intalled it succesfully but i cant make the phone recognice the data directory.
I searched in the TB wiki and found the OMNIA config but it does not work on my device. Where to point the directory? i tried "file:///root1/trekbudy/", "file:///trekbudy/","file:///root/trekbudy/" and so on. Of course i copied all the file folders with the traks-gpx, maps, resources and else.
Thanks in advance

you made a folder on your phone already, called "trekbuddy", with all the needed subfolders, as describes in the wiki?
since you wrote "trekbudy" (only one "d"), it might be a simple typo?

Yes it could be as simple as the spelling,I had the same problem
on my Nokia 2680 and it turned out the TB has to be able to create
the DataDir where it has permission to write. In the case of the 2680
that turned out to be the folder that the fone stored images from camera.
On my Dell Axim 51v the problem was the lack of JSR-75 or
fileconnect.dll and once that was installed it works well. All
these gave the same symptom "cannot find datadir repair and
restart".I ended up pointing to my SD card for which the Dell
sets for write permission.

I writed it wrong on the forum but i did put trekbuddy with two d. I have already created the subfolders as the wiki describes. It also has write permission. Keeps giving me the "cannot find datadir repair and
restart" message.
Still looking for an answer. Thanks for replaying

try Load Map to load a map from you folders and select it as default when asked, then have a look at Settings->Basic->Startup map to see how base folder (Datadir) should look like...
