Hi,
I have bought A780 without GPS because I want to buy externel GPS (to use it with my PDA too) how can I use TB with external GPS on my A780. I found that there should be external provider in configuration of TB, but I cant find it in my A780.
So, how can I use external GPS with A780?

E.

You have to pair your BT GPS with your phone first. Then you may set external provider in TB options, and then start external GPS in TB menu.

Provider's name for BT GPS is "Bluetooth" in the Options->Settings->Provider list of providers.

Hmm...
Actually I test my friend BT GPS, I bounded BT with phone, but I still have not additional provider present. On my pda to run GPS program with external GPS I have to create serial connection with BT. In phone I dont have ability to do that (or I don't know how to do it) I just create bound with GPS and I don't know how to make serial connection with GPS.

Hmmm, some A780 do not have JSR-82 implemented, I read, so you may not see "Blutooth" provider.
It's running linux, isn't there any /dev/xyz representing the BT GPS device?

OK. I tested with gmaps midlet and there BT not working too, so it seams that it realy don't have JSR-82 implemented. I try to ask on motorolafans forum about it.
