Ok guys, I succeded to install in the end..I used this tool to download map! And now I have 2 directories, MAPS and OZI...where should I put those directories in the MMC? Are they both required or only MAPS directory? In trekbuddy I have to Load Map or Load Atlas? Which file I have to open? sorry for my questions but I'm going crazy and everybody here knows already everything! Thank you so much!

You succeeded to install TB on your SXG75? Great!

Just copy MAPS dir to MMC, and in TB, use Load Atlas and then, in file browser, select the file in MAPS dir that ends with .tba.

First of all I want to thank the authors of this wonderful tool, a lot of people were looking for a software like that since a long time!
It runs perfectly on my SE K800, but I want more now: maps of my city! Cool

That's why I saw your powerful JAVA tool to grap maps automatically from GoogleMaps, it seems very interesting for newbies like me.
I have the feeling I'll ask something stupid, but I did not find the answer in the posts Rolling Eyes

Question is: Is it possible for poor newbies users like me to use this application?
If yes, where can I get the "GoogleHackPureJava.jar" file?

Thanks a lot, soon you'll get the coords of Paris map!

Maybe you can't see shortcut for downloading in the first post! I think you need to be registered to download it! As soon as you'll be logged in I suppose you will be able to see and download this wonderful tool!

How to get access to this aplication?

java -jar name.jar doesnt work.

I have newest JAVA enviroment on computer.
Help...

It seems you have a problem with registering your java directory to the system path. Try first running this command with the full path to the java.exe file. (Something like "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin\java -jar name.jar").
If it works just add the path to your java directory to the system path (My Comuter - Properties - Details - Environment properties).

I suposse, that you use GoogleHackOureJava.jar instead of name.jar, and you type that command in the same directory, where GoogleHackPureJava.jar file is located.

Try first some working example from this discusion above. Then check if you use the same parameter format, and if you didn't miss any number. This is working for me.

java.exe -jar GoogleHackPureJava.jar 1792 14.30773333 50.1363111111 14.59328333 49.9937583333 4 praha 512

If you still have problems with parameters, paste whole command to this forum.

After I have created the png files and such from your program, I transfered the map dir to my phone and went to load map and selected the .map file. It said it loaded up but I only see black.

I can see the png files fine but what is wrong?

Hey man great tool Very Happy

Just wondering if it's possible to create hybrid maps? You know adding sat images to the maps would be terrific!

I've been inspecting the code and altough I don't know java I can understand it, just don't know how to compile it and try for myself.
