Sorry 4 my stupid question, I am just beginner in gps navigation and things about it are for me new. I'm searching for application, which can manage or convert .img files (from Garmin) to files, useable with TrekBuddy. Exist any possibility? _________________ SE W910i,Nokia E50 + BT GPS Nokia LD-3W |

Yes, you can use free GPS MapEdit for example.
Just use forum search option ... |

Hi folks!,
I'm testing the GPS MapEditor and I can´t convert .img files (Garmin) to an atlas or a file used by TB. Please, can you explain me how you did?.
Thank you very much!
Regards! |

| You can use mapedit to convert them..First, oven .img file..And trim map to area that you want..next zooming area that you trim to your best view..My advice is 200-300 meter. after that export that file to ozyexplorer(.map and .bmp) choose "set whole map" and save in local folder. Now open ozyexplorer, and open the file that you save from mapedit. First .bmp and then .map for calibration..Or you can direct open .map and .bmp from TBcutter or TBmapper and compile them to your own trekbuddy map. |
