Just remember - i don't use MGMaps because of internet traffic - too expensive here.
Only FindThePlace.

Hi - interesting project Wink

I have tested it with my e1000 and it does receive gps fixes

However - The cordinates are wrong

I live in London but the results given are off the coast of Ghana 5 8' 17.6"n, 0 0' 36.0"w

also the fixes come in at an irregular rate of a fix every 3 or 4 seconds with your app.

However with find the place fixes are every second regular.

OK... what values do you use for accuracy, age and timeout in FindThePlace to get a fix every sec? It does not run in my phone, but from code inspection I assume there are these 3 fields available for configuration...

Well, that are good news.
Yesterday night, i try to get a fix... i done this:
Open findtheplace and get a fix in 10 minuts.
Close FTP
Open TB and could not get a fix within 2 or 3 minuts.
Close TB and reopen FTP, and get a fix again in 15 seconds.
I guess TB was not working very well, but K500zm sayd he get fix's, so, i guess it work's.

BTW, K500zm have that same registrations problem i have... i guess.

Another problem here - a white space on botttom of the screen shows up quite often - the map do not take all the screen.

I'm gonna get that new version for testing.

Thanks.

No, in both.
That shows and desappear - if i press info and return, the white band is gone. I touch the joystick, and it comes on the screen again.
