Hey,

I just got my new Ericsson c702 and got tired of having to pay for the online-gpsmaps.. so I wread about trekbody.. Great! so I installed it and started to calibrate my own maps.

First I made png-pictures of my .rik maps of sweden. Then I calibrated the maps in ozi, I used four points wich I took in the corners clockwise. Finally I cut them up in to little pieces with tb_cutter.. very smooth... bu now when I've put the maps in to my phone I can see them and so.. very nice.. but the calibration seams to be wrong.

The longitude and lattitude doesnt seam to make any sence... when I move the marker over the screen on the phone both N,S and E,W varies even I only move the marker east.

I've attached my .map file..

Does anyone have any idea what is wrong?

Thankful for help!

/Oskar

1. calibration points coordinates seems totaly wrong; in an example of Sweden map I have, lon is 12 degrees east and lat 57 degrees north.
2. I doubt the map is using Latitude/Longitude projection + WGS84 datum - I would guess .rik maps use "(SG) Swedish Grid" projection / "RT 90" datum

Hi,
I live also in Jamtland. Did you manage to make the map working? Got C702 also and Wayfinder is not nice to use (due to all the payments, etc...)
If you have it working, could you please post the map ready for TrekBuddy to my email? jachym.lukes@gmail.com

Thanks Smile
