|
|
Hi Kruch,
many thanks for all the work and the fine program at first!
I can run it and GPS-Position is found on MAP, only on all CMS-schemes
i tried, i can not see SAT/SAT-IN-VIEW or SNRs/Powers. They all semm to be
zero, though GPS-Position is showed.
Is that normal behaviour for internal GPS or is there some errors/mistakes on my usage?
Moreover the alt-d and speed -variables (in m/s), (that are signed values) seem to confuse the screen. I saw such a messy screenshot in this forum, but text was polski or czech, so i can not understand the words, cause i am german. What is up with these m/s values on BlackBerry?
Thanks in advance, MartinZ

|

Hi Kruch,
to proof my suspicion posted before, I created a
320x240 SNR / PRN Test-CMS
that shows the CMS-bug on BlackBerry 8800 :
Though the GPS works and correct position is found,
snr0 .. snr11 are always "0"
prn0 .. prn11 are always "0"
fix is always "2"
sat is always "-1"
alt-d changes from blue to res if positive/negative, but regularly switches to a strange value with many, many digits, so it does not fit to the area any more.
Cause the Test-CMS can be used by anyone who wants to have a base for testing, i append it as an attachment.

I will test it.
Right away I can say Location API (used by Internal provider) does not - as far as I know - provide info like number of sats in view etc.
On BB, or 8800 at least, raw NMEA data are accessible and can be logged by TB; but support for using NMEA instead of info from JSR-179 provider is not implemented yet.
Jumping altitude may be a bug in TB, I'll check it.

Hi ravny,
themes have to be copied into "ui-profiles" that is a subfolder of the folder trekbuddy, that you (i hope you know this) had to create yourself (e.g. on the SD-card.)
you put the cms - file in there and start trekbuddy.
if you now press the right key (on my BB8800 it is the '#/Q'-Key you change view from map to Kompass-Screen. If you press it again the CMS-screen appears.
to change from one CMS to another you press another key ('G' on my BB8800) or to selct one CMS out of a list yu press a third key ('6/F' on BB8800)
Greets, MartinZ

Dovolil som si trochu upravit toto CMS, zle mi to zobrazovalo texty s polohou, pridal som tam wpt-alt a wpt-alt-diff a upravil orezavanie aby
sa udaje neprekryvali s obrazkom pozadia. Na BB 8310 mi to teraz vyzera skvele.

I´m sorry, but I have no opportunity to test it and some fonts may be badly located, especially on the rightside of display. CMS on the picture is final version. Please, test it yourself. If it will works, send here your picture of display. I will try to repair some troubles then. |
I already changed a bit. This is what I did:
- The coords in the upper left corner were slightly too high
- I changed the decimal part of the speed to a smaller font
- I changed colors to be more "LCD-like"
Blue may look cool (no doubt about that), but unfortunately it is VERY hard to read in dark conditions, so I changed the colors to look like a backlit LCD.

You should use keymap.txt file in trekbuddy resource directory.
More on wiki in section keymap:
