Currently it is more myself who should get the credits for the new features as Moller mainly manages the stable releases.

Great program...I've been away a little from this forum and I see that Moller has improved it a lot!! This is my favorite (and only) atlas creator!!

What is the color depth of your tiles? 512x512 may be too much; with 4 tiles loaded, even with 1 byte per pixel, they would take 1MB of heap. Eg. 300x400 would consume ~480kB "only". But, re ...

I tried with a smaller atlas.
3 layers. 512x512 tiles.
The first layer is formed of 1 map (only 4 tiles).
Second layer if formed of 4 maps (no more than 16 tiles for every map)

Moller, what about the chance to set bigger maps (256x256 cause my phone to access memory very often since it has a 320x240 display, and the ability to set 4bpp like the googleak tool on this forum)? ...
