I think you've a bit misunderstanding the use of the tool in its version 2.0.

In fact the image displayed in the window is just here to mark waypoints or to navigate to have the map ...

The calibration file provided changes when you change the number of slices, so normally it should be accurate with all the images you download!

I've now updated the tool mapexplore, so you can choose the format of the calibration file (crippled Ozi or MMPXY/LL), I've let the choice because I'm not sure about MMPXY/LL format as ...

Right it was the DIV tag that was not strictly defined, and it was accepted by IE and not by Mozilla...
So here is the correction that seems to work for both IE and mozilla!
